Why ENDO
Good company, good places
Local guides
Guides who live here, speak English and know which street, shrine or noodle shop is worth your time.
Small groups
Walking tours are capped at a handful of guests, so you can hear the guide and ask questions.
Real places
We skip the tour-bus circuit for quieter lanes, early starts and the spots locals actually go.
Simple booking
Pick a date, pay securely online and get a receipt straight away. No back-and-forth emails.

FAQ
Good to know
Where do the walking tours start?+
Each tour page gives the exact meeting point with a map, such as a station exit or a well-known landmark. Your guide meets you there at the start time.
How big are the groups?+
Our shared walking tours are small groups of up to eight guests, so you may join other travellers. Private tours, like the Nijo Castle walk and every motorcycle tour, are just for your own group. Each tour page says which kind it is.
Can I cancel or change my booking?+
On our walking tours you get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour starts, and no refund after that or if you don't show up, unless you cancel because of severe weather or a natural disaster. Each tour page shows its own cancellation policy. To cancel or change a date, contact us.
What if it rains?+
Tours go ahead in the rain, so bring an umbrella or a rain jacket. If we ever have to cancel a tour ourselves, you get a full refund.
Can I bring children?+
Yes. Some tours have a lower child price and let infants join for free. On others everyone pays the same price per person, whatever their age. The booking form on each tour page shows which applies.
What licence do I need for the motorcycle tours?+
A full motorcycle licence from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention) with the motorcycle category. Some countries use an official Japanese translation of the licence instead.
How do I pay?+
Walking tours are paid in full by card through Stripe when you book. You're charged in Japanese yen, and prices shown in other currencies are estimates. Motorcycle tours are booked by inquiry: we'll confirm the price and how to pay when we reply.
